Associate Dean Jeffrey A. Dodge was appointed to serve on the University of Idaho's Support Unit Program Prioritization Work Group. The group’s task was initially to identify and weigh the criteria by which all non-academic, support units will be assessed. At the completion of that process, the group elected Dean Dodge chair to help lead future work.  The group decided that support units will be assessed based on five criteria: Impact, Justification and Overall Essentiality (35%), Internal Demand (20%), Mandates and External Demand (20%), Quality (15%), and Cost Effectiveness (10%).  The metrics for each of these criteria are currently under development.
