The Economic Development Clinic, located at the University of Idaho College of Law in Boise and directed by Prof. Stephen R. Miller, is co-sponsoring the new Citizens Planning Academy with the University of Idaho's Bioregional Planning Program and Idaho Smart Growth. The first event is this Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Announcing Citizens Planning Academy 2017 series Our monthly learning series returns with Planning - More than Balancing Property Rights & Regulation: Successful Communities Plan for Their Future, presented by Dr. Jaap Vos, Director of U of I Bioregional Planning Program.
This first session is an overview of why planning is important and how planning is done. It will be held on Wed., Feb. 1, from 6-7:30 PM at U of I College of Law in the Idaho Law Learning Center (514 W. Jefferson ST) Room 136 on the1st Floor. Please use east entrance, parking is available on the east side of the building in the spots marked “visitor.”
The C.P.A. is a collaboration of Idaho Smart Growth and the University of Idaho, College of Law in Boise and Bioregional Planning Program. Monthly sessions are designed to help citizens become effective advocates on a wide range of planning topics. All sessions are free and open to everyone.
