October 25, 2016, Associate Professor Shaakirrah R. Sanders presented on religious shield laws in Idaho at a forum sponsored by the Human Rights Commission for the City of Moscow, Idaho. The Commission aims to eliminate discrimination, improve human relations, and effectuate the spirit and intent of applicable human rights legislation in Moscow, Idaho. The Commission enlists the support of community groups and public agencies. The Commission makes recommendations to the Mayor and the Council regarding policies and programs with the objective of implementing Commission goals and objectives concerning the civil and human rights of persons and groups in the community.
