I’m from Rigby, Idaho. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2008 where I received my bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Political Science. In my free time I love spending time with my family, playing basketball, reading, snow skiing, swimming, jet skiing, traveling, participating in my church, and learning new things.
The summer of 2013 I worked as an extern with the Area Legal Counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in The Philippines. This past summer I worked as an extern with the Legal Counsel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah. Both were very rewarding experiences where I was able to see how international laws were applied to everyday legal matters.
One of my favorite things about the University of Idaho is the amazing friendships that are created between students, teachers and staff alike. My advice to incoming students is first to get involved! The University of Idaho College of Law offers many clubs, clinics, and interschool competitions that are worthwhile, educational, and fun! Secondly, don’t forget to have a life outside of studying. Learning to balance school demands with social activities and exercise is a must!
I’m happy to email or chat with new or prospective students who have any questions—please see the top of my ambassador page for my contact information. Thanks!
